I am severely pumped for this! It's nice having stuff to look forward to again. Agatha was a show I was tepid about, but ended up liking, and I'm cautiously hopeful for Cap. But this looks like a sureshot win for us. More comic accurate but still represents plenty of the good from the Netflix show.

Daredevil is one of my all time faves. I liked the Netflix show. It was the all time best portrayal of the balance between Matt and DD but I seriously got tired of seeing him get the dog poop beat out of him on a regular basis. I wish they would just do him like he was during the time of Frank Miller, Denny O'Neil and Ann Nocenti. Back then he was always better than his enemies. Supremely confident and always superior skilled. A prime example of that was when he caught the sai from Bullseye with two fingers flung it back at him and hit him and effortlessly eliminated him. We've not seen a DD like that in many years. Though his confidence is still pretty much in tact he takes massively many more beat downs than he used to. So much that it's more or less formulaic. Meets and enemy. Super confident against them. Takes an L. Often times more than once. Heals. Takes a huge dose of self reflection and inner monologue. Figures out how to beat them and ultimately uses some gimmick to overcome. Nothing original about it anymore. And I do think that honestly is a result of the show. As the substance of any movie or show always begins to seep into the comics. This show does look like it's going to be a little more comic book(y) than the Netflix but there's still a lot of shots of him getting his buns kicked. I don't know. I think a movie would have served him better in this case but I guess they're trying to bury a soap opera in another super hero show. Hope it's better than Moon Knight at least. I'll wait and see. Glad to see Frank back. Hopefully the skull isn't on full time ban anymore. Glad to see Muse and Bullseye. Though something gives me the feeling they are going to do that Disney thing and fuse the two together. And Vincent as Wilson looks fit and huge. At least those elements are looking really good so far. I continue to have high hopes but as is the case with the MCU over the last few years I still brace for the worst.

Oh exciting, this looked like a very intriguing trailer, I' enjoyed what I saw here, very happy to see that they kept it gritty and bloody, all of the actors reprising their roles even surprised by Bullseye being back, and fun to see some new characters like Muse and White Tiger. also glad they are still keeping the Netflix show Canon. Also loving that new quite accurate (looking from trailer) all red suit.

This was a good trailer,

I'm pretty excited about this, honestly so far 2025's MCU line up has me very hopeful.

Looks to be a decent continuation but the action and the fights seem to be more comic inspired. Like he gets to use his billy clubs in more creative ways and gets to use his grappling hooks to swing across the rooftops. I appreciate the grittiness and realism of the original but was really longing for a classic comic style butt kicking DD instead of watching him be beat darn near to death in every other episode. Please Disney do right by old Hornhead.

It looks like they're doing that with characters that they didn't have before. Or at least they're trying. I noticed the same thing with Wolverine in Dp3, as he fought in a different way than he did in the Fox movies. A bit more animalistic at times.

Just figured it was an MCU thread, and might pique some interest, hahaha! Wouldn't be the most offtrack we've gotten!

Started off pretty good. Loved the fight scenes and the rooftop swinging. Much better than the Netflix version. As much as was available so far anyway. Not boring by any means but I do hope the pace picks up a bit. I want to see the BA DD from the comics. The earlier comics from when they were good. And he was a real Man Without Fear.

One funny thing though. I watched an interview where Charlie Cox who has an English accent said he was finding it hard portraying an American accent after portraying an Irish accent for so long on Kin. Good show BTW. Anyway there are times especially when he's speaking in a distressed tone that the Dublin accent pops out quite prominently. It's kind of funny. Not a show killer but it's enough for your ears to stop for half a second and question what show you're actually watching. Especially if you're a fan CC and of Kin. Which I am and I am.

Just a cute little tidbit.

I was VERY happy to see Ayelet Zurer return as Vanessa! Sandrine Holt is fine but I really thought Ayelet nailed the role in the Netflix series, and was very disappointed at reports that neither she nor Deborah Woll were coming back. I wasn't expecting a Heather Glenn part; I like Margarita Levieva, but see her more as Elektra or Typhoid Mary. Jaime Alexander looks more like Heather Glenn.

It seemed like they made the Kingpin's suits a bit loose on him, which if deliberate, goes to the point that Matt made about him having lost weight. Once again, the man played the Kingpin to perfection....he deserves an emmy! Daredevil with a beard doesn't work for me; I do hope his costume will get rid of that nose bridge thing and add the "DD" logo. Overall they did a fantastic job and I cant wait for the rest!!

Same. I would have missed Ayelet Zurer as much as Deborah Ann Woll. Maybe more.

Watched the first 2 episodes the other night, I was pretty pleased with it so far, the second episode pulled me in a lot more then the first, although the first episode had a very strong beginning, but kinda trickled out, second episode I started really feeling it more, I am not sure why but some of the cinematography felt kinda lower-budget at times...it was a bit weird, maybe that was just me, I am excited to see where it all goes though, of course Vincent as Kingpin is the highlight as usual, Charlie takes some time for me to get into, he just isn't always believable as a Matt Murdock...not sure why, he grows on you though.

I'm pacing myself on the episodes....they were doing very well till the Murdock fight scene with the cops. Here  I thought those guys had to be dead or at least hospitalized in comas, and yet no?  Not that I NEEDED to see them terminated, its just the brutality of the fight, and the outcome?

Same here. After the episode ended I thought Matt had killed them both. He dropped a guy on his neck and he's just bruised by the next episode😅. Show is great though, loving it so far.

Ok now did I miss something?? Muse: in the comic he has superhuman abilities. On the show, far as I can tell, he had tae kwon do training for about 3 months, which he hated, and wound up killing his instructor by mysterious means. No powers. Not seeing that giving him the ability to hold his own against Daredevil, OR for him to escape once DD's back is turned. The radar sense and superhuman hearing/smell abilities that can pick out a specific heartbeat across a bustling New York City, and they can't zero in on a badly beaten serial murderer??

Matt's GOTTA be more careful about protecting his secret ID.

Show is still good though. D'Onofrio needs an Emmy. He plays the Kingpin PERFECTLY.

I'm VERY disappointed that Karen isn't actually back, though!

I wasn't very happy that Muse died. I feel like they should've kept him around, given how he is such a unique character. Now, how was he able to hold his own against DD with little training....I don't know. Is there something that they're saving for the 2nd season about him?? Again I don't know.
